On the first Friday of every month, the LCR Health and Wellness Group organizes a “Wear Jeans for a Cause Day” whereby, an employee picked at random gets to choose a charity that is important to them. All employees who would like to participate make a $5 donation to wear jeans on that day. Already this year, we have supported Garden State Equality, Wear Red for Women, Colorectal Cancer Awareness, Jersey Battered Women’s Service and The Seeing Eye. In June, we supported Benny’s Bodega, which offers hard-working people who are struggling a place to “shop” for basic needs items free of charge. We collected laundry detergent as well as making a monetary contribution.
