$19.3 Million Awarded to Sussex County Man -May 22, 2014
One of the largest jury verdicts was just awarded to a Vernon man seriously injured in a motorcycle accident.
Steve Vissagio and his wife Barbara were awarded 19.3 million dollars today by a jury of their peers for injuries sustained in a serious motor vehicle accident on Route 23, in Sussex Borough, back in March of 2010. Vissagio was hit from behind on his motorcycle and sustained a serious spinal, neck and shoulder injury.

A Superior Court judge today refused to order a third trial in the case of a carpenter from Sussex County who was awarded $10.6 million after he suffered spinal injuries in an elevator accident at the Headquarters Plaza high rise in Morristown.
